This is a very interesting interview with Josh Schwartz, the creator of The OC. This interview occurred right around the time the series finale aired so Schwartz airs some dirty laundry about why plot lines played out the way they did, a lot of which were related to the bureaucracy at FOX network. I highly suggest it and I hope you enjoy!

1. This is so hard but as of now these are the box sets I would choose.
The OC-It was the first television show I became obsessed with and it has so many awesome characters.
The thick of it-I only recently got the box set and it is amazing, so hilarious and way to smart for me to grasp completely so maybe my time on the Island would help me to understand it more.
The inbetweeners-I re-watch the inbetweeners a lot and it’s never not funny, the characters are all so flawed but I still want to be friends with all of them. Also it reminds me a lot of my friends at secondary school as we used to shout stuff like “bus wankers” and “football friend” across the grass.
Chuck (season 1)- I love season 1 so much out of all of the seasons, I think it’s just because it was more comedy based than the other seasons and there was more buy more.
and Psych (season 1)- So funny and smart, I love Gus and Sean their friendship reminds me of a lot that I have, as in we love each other but we will betray each other if we need to. That sounds bad but if you’ve seen the show you will know what I mean.
2.I don’t think I’ve found that album yet honestly, there are albums that I love with all my heart for different reasons but of all time, yeash that’s a long time to listen to one album.
3. I had to think really hard about this because I don’t really own anything more than the DVDs or CDs if I like something but I do have a framed picture of the OC cast on my wall that a friend gave to me when I was like 13, I’m pretty sure she just printed off a picture and put it in a frame but I still love it. But if that doesn’t count I do have a Jonas brother’s keyring which is pretty adorable.
4.I have to be honest I don’t read that much, I get too into books and forget homework, my social life and to eat. You hear that books why are you so good! but I have read a couple so here it goes:
1. Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince by J.K.Rowling
2. Doing it by Melvin Burgess
3.The curious incident of the dog at night time by Mark Haddon
4.The Lorax by Dr Seuss
5.The Subtle Knife by Phillip Pullman
more Harry Potter is probably in my top 5 as i re-read them more than any other book but I thought that would be boring.
5. The first that came to mind was when Ryan is leaving The OC and you see Marissa in the background at sunset. I never really liked Marissa or anything but that’s a pretty iconic shot. Here’s a link to demonstrate what I mean.
well that was fun thanks :D
So I browsing the channels and I go to BBC1 and what do I see on the info box, Lost. So I’m thinking this over like “I didn’t know Lost was on the BBC…wait it was never on the BBC it was only on channel 4 or sky what is going on?!”. I also noticed it wasn’t lost as Dean Cain AKA Superman was on the screen and so far has been the only person on screen. Now looking at more info I find out it is a film where Dean Cain gets lost in the desert. Surely the BBC scheduled this a day after the Lost finale for a reason, this can’t be a coincidence right this must be some in joke or signal to the Lost viewers?
I don’t even watch Lost, but I did watch some of the first and second series but then it moved to a sky channel and I never saw it again. Which makes no sense as I do have sky but I’m never really in the sitting room passed 8 to watch prime time shows.
Yeah, it was hard to miss it on tumblr. I posted the “aces charles, aces” quote in celebration because I thought everyone would be sickof/already know from the “WOO YEAH RENEWAL”, I guess I was too subtle. But thanks for telling me anyway :D
In Chuck versus the Tooth they said that Chuck’s brain wasn’t handling the pressure of the intersect and was basically slowly going mad, is it just me or does it seem like this happened to his dad. His dad did have early versions of the intersect on his brain so it’s plausible. That was the first thought which popped into my head when doc said it to Chuck but I just remembered now whilst reading a review. So if his dad is coming back in the next few episodes (which looks likely with all the Ellie spy stuff happening) hopefully he will have some way to help or at least cushion the blow because it will really be depressing to watch Chuck deteriorate. Actually merely the thought is quite depressing as I doubt we will see chuck that far into the future unless they do like a desperate housewives and skip 5 years.
I’m just gonna run out to get some milk… I’ll be right back
I was just thinking “you know who I haven’t seen around my dashboard in a while themattsmith, have I unfollowed him by accident cos I don’t remember doing that?” and then I go to his page and this is what I see. I wish I could say something witty right now but it hurts too much (and I’m not that witty but it’s mostly the hurt).
